Romeite

(Ca,Fe,Mn,Na)2(Sb,Ti)2)O6 (O,OH,F)

This sample of roomette is displayed in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Romeite is an oxide which contains antimony, titanium and fluorine. It is a part of the pyrochlore supergroup. This sample has listed composition (Ca,Fe,Mn,Na)2(Sb,Ti)2)O6(O,OH,F). The sample at left is about 5 cm across and is from Miguel Burnier, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
