MgB₃O₃(OH)₅.5H₂O

This sample of inderite is displayed in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Inderite is a oxide mineral of boron and magnesium with the composition MgB₃O₃(OH)₅.5H₂O. It is also referred to as a borate. The sample at left is about 3-4 cm wide and about 25 cm high. It is from Boron, California.
