Spring 2026 Awana at MFBC

April 1, 2026

The Awanas have become very fond of the big stacking cans for the opening recreation time. This time they blocked the door with them!

Since the door was blocked, the entering Awanas had to work their way through the cans, so we had to change the rules about where the cans could be stacked.

Rules can be changed, and the boys and girls adapted and enjoyed the brief beginning recreation time as usual.

Others chose the design sets or coloring sheets.

Johnny Huffman directs the saying of the pledges and introducing an Awana.

The third of the pledges is the pledge to the Bible.

Ms. Becky gives general directions for tonight's Awana meeting.

We give special recognitions to Awana boys and girls, and in this case we sing Happy Birthday to an Awana.

In this case Becky introduces a new member of Awana.

On this evening we had two T&T Awanas and two Sparks Awanas who were recognized for advances in Scripture learning and recitation.

These two T&T Awanas received special recognition for outstanding achievement in Bible learning. The pattern of award symbols on the left represents a new record in achievement of which we were very proud.

Since we were approaching Easter, our large group time focused on the events of Easter.
